Summer Festivities 2020!
The Summer Festivities have officially begun!

EVENT DURATION AUGUST 21ST TO SEPTEMBER 5TH

  • The event can be accessed through the button above or by going to the community drop down menu!
  • For the first few days, an additional new task will appear each day for a total of 8 different tasks.
  • Tasks refresh on a set timer, for example the Gather Refreshments task can be completed every 2 hours (12AM, 2AM, and so on)
  • Overtime reward details will appear if the main bar is filled before the event ends!
  • A seasonal quest related to the events of this year's Summer Festivities will unlock if the bar is successfully filled by the end of the event!
  • This quest, if unlocked will be enabled for the duration of September after the event ends.
  • The leaderboard is just for fun and does not include any bonus prizes for high scoring users!

Event Related Item Drop
  • The Shimmering Ember is an event specific item that is now obtainable by completing daily errands for Louise Hill NPC's (Both positive and negative paths)!
  • All shimmering embers are account bound and will disappear at the end of the event.

    If I do all my Louise Hill dailies now, will I still be able to hand in embers for the quest? Or do I have to collect the embers after starting the quest?

    Excited for the event, but it's really unusual that the items possess the same dark lineart that we received an update a day ago about how lineart like that would be refined.
    Wonderful event, sure, but the items don't seem to make sense with yesterday's announcement.

    Very excited to take part in the event! :D I do agree that it's a little disappointing to see the dark outline on the new items, apart from the wings. They're still very lovely! It's just the dark outline spoils them a bit. Still, it's not gonna stop me from trying my best. (^____^)

    I'm excited for this event, although I am kinda sad to see there are no longer any turnips as part of the prize packs (there were in beta, and I really liked that!), the potato prize is pretty low, even, or rather especially for the elite tier.

    I'm curious what the stretch goals/over time rewards will look like, and for the special side quest we'll unlock when we fill up the bar in time.

    The event is amazing and the outfits are absolutely beautiful ! =^^= it's just too bad we won't be able to keep at least one ember as a souvenir ,they'r so pretty

    This is such a cool idea!! However, I'm trying to work out the math in my head and it doesn't seem like the highest reward tier is at all easily attainable. In order to get there you'd have to be continuously checking in at every possible hour of the day for fourteen days - and, with many of us starting school soon, that simply isn't feasible. Perhaps lower the highest reward tier to 20k points and adjust the rest accordingly, or lengthen the event? Food for thought.

    I know there are more tasks coming in the next few days but by my calculations, based on the time constraints, I'm not sure how 30,000 points is possible unless you play 24 hours a day and do every single task - and more tasks are added. As of now, it's impossible with the current tasks from my understanding.
    I'm going to give the event my all but I need sleep, personally XD

    I am very excited about this event but the more I think about it the more upset it makes me... because it just seems like this event is just for the elite players. Everybody else who has real life responsibilities don't stand a chance here... I hope the tasks that will be added later keep that in account that some people can just play once a day or can really grind on weekends... because if this is set up to be just to give some more highly exclusive items to the top players it seems pointless to even participate in these events in the future

    30k points does not seem physically possible
    been playing each since it's started and only have 500 points
    maybe the new events will be worth a lot of points?
    But I do need to sleep at some point

    I know a lot of people are concerned about the points needed to attain the elite tier, but I noticed that the points awarded for each task increases the more tasks you do. The first time I did the Gather Decor task I was awarded 75 points but the second time I was awarded 150 points. Pet interaction tasks seem to increase the points awarded by +5 each time (20 first time, 25 second time, etc...). So in theory, the more you play the easier it is to get points. Hopefully this eases some nerves.
