Summer Festivities 2020!
The Summer Festivities have officially begun!

EVENT DURATION AUGUST 21ST TO SEPTEMBER 5TH

  • The event can be accessed through the button above or by going to the community drop down menu!
  • For the first few days, an additional new task will appear each day for a total of 8 different tasks.
  • Tasks refresh on a set timer, for example the Gather Refreshments task can be completed every 2 hours (12AM, 2AM, and so on)
  • Overtime reward details will appear if the main bar is filled before the event ends!
  • A seasonal quest related to the events of this year's Summer Festivities will unlock if the bar is successfully filled by the end of the event!
  • This quest, if unlocked will be enabled for the duration of September after the event ends.
  • The leaderboard is just for fun and does not include any bonus prizes for high scoring users!

Event Related Item Drop
  • The Shimmering Ember is an event specific item that is now obtainable by completing daily errands for Louise Hill NPC's (Both positive and negative paths)!
  • All shimmering embers are account bound and will disappear at the end of the event.

    I'm really excited for this event, but my heart sank when I saw God#4 at the top of the list again. As a staff member, it's disheartening to see staff participating in an event. During Beta, many users complained that a staff member was involved in an event, partially because the event was of a competitive nature: only the top percentile would obtain the Spring Bloom. I'm very glad staff removed the competitive feature, but seeing God on the scoreboard reminded me of that bad aspect of the Spring Event during Beta, and personally, it seems unprofessional for a staff member to be participating in an event as if they were a regular user. If a staff member remains at the top of the scoreboard for the entire event, seeds of discontent may be sown in the user base. Just my two cents.

    Thanks for changing the top 10% to a new tier, I like it better that way! Can’t wait to see what else the event will bring.

    I’m lowkey wondering what the ‘rewards’ of the main progression bar will be and if there’s something like a shop that sells items limited to this specific event hmmm.

    are the embers supposed to be a rare drop or..? I've only completed 17 LH quests but haven't had one drop yet, I can't tell if they are meant to have a low drop rate or just not added yet ;;;

    I agree with the others. Staff members, much less an Admin of the entire site, should not be on the leaderboards of events.
