Premium Badge Clarification!

Hello everyone! We'd like to address and clarify some confusion surrounding the Premium Badge features and their relation to the Monthly Shops!

What Perks do Premium Badges give you?
  • +1 Bonus Spin Point for Pai's Machine of Wonders each month you have premium activated, spin points do not expire!
  • +2 Outfit Save Slots
  • +10 Trades Market Lots at once
  • +1 Potato Bonus tasks per day
  • +1 Stat Boost tasks per day
  • +1 Town Hop per day
  • +2 Max items from minigames per day
  • +2000 potatoes max from minigames per day
  • +2000 potatoes max from forum posts per day
  • Free access to premium undergarments in the wardrobe while Premium is activated

Note: Perks may be adjusted/added to as time goes on! We will update everyone if we adjust/add new perks in the future.

We realize there was some misinformation present in the notification users got when they activated premium prior to July 1st.

This was the notification users got:
As part of your premium member perks, you have received this month's bonus point for the premium shop. Remember to claim an item before it expires!

The notification should say:
As part of this month's premium member perks, you have received 1 bonus spin point for Pai's Machine of Wonders. All spin points go towards getting a bonus free item claim!

We completely understand that this may change some user's views on whether or not they would currently want premium, so we'd like to offer a turnip currency refund to any user who used their premium badge before July 1st, 2020 and would like it refunded.

Send in a ticket in order to:
  1. Get your premium status cancelled.
  2. Get a refund in Turnips for the same amount as the cost of the Premium Badge you used.

We do have a backlog of tickets at the moment, but we promise to get to everyone soon, no ticket will be missed!

Additionally, there was a bug prior to July 1st in which bonus spin points were not being rewarded yet. We've added +1 spin point for Pai's shop to everyone who activated premium prior to July 1st 2020!

    I would like to respectfully weigh in that the current perks are not enough to entice me to buy a premium membership. However, I'm confident that you, the Dappervolk team, will balance this issue! I love this site and foresee myself playing for many years to come. Everything costs money and I'm happy to buy monthly cosmetics to support the site and receive beautiful cosmetics in return. Suggestion: Add a monthly pet and one outfit item to premium package holders only. I believe that would help most of the user base decide to support the site further. There will be users that whine unfairness at premium users receiving limited items but all sites do this. I will refrain from naming them. It's a sustainable and smart business model.

    Really upset that I spent even ten dollars here, five of which went to the charity. I should of just taken my money to donate directly, but I had spent my extra five here to show support for the donations. Now this happens? Gross

    Honestly I think a turnip refund for monthly is fair, but those that paid yearly or large amounts should be given RLC refunds because that's so much to invest for something that's at the moment, so not worth it.

    I already hated the new turnip gacha, I don't mind having fun spinning with currency I earn for basically free throughout the site, but a random chance to get something that absolutely needs money? Nuh uh. Disgusting. And now this? A refund of TURNIPS? That's laughable. I understand refunding the real money could maybe potentially sort of be problematic (I still feel like that should be done though as that was falsely advertised, I'd be so mad if I spent money) but there's basically nothing else for most to spend those turnips on.

    And I agree with what lots of others are saying, now nothing else seems like a good enough reward to get premium, so there goes my chances of ever possibly getting it and because of other reasons along with this I'm likely to never spend a cent on this site ever.
    Like come on? You can't just really make it a free item? It has to be a spin? Or even at least give everyone free items for however many months of premium they purchased expecting it to be that.

    100% feel like this site is becoming a big lying cash grab and once enough people get angry the devs are just going to up and run, abandoning this. Though I would genuinely love to get proven wrong since this was (sort of still is) a favorite site/game of mine.

    I'd like a cash refund for my year's premium due to the bait-and-switch nature of this. I legit enjoy premium, it's handy, got it mostly for the extra town hop. What I don't like is financially supporting sites that are deliberately dishonest to their users. But money's spent, premium currency is explicitly marked as non-refundable, guess I'll take this as a lesson on being an early adopter.

    At least I won't be tempted to spend any more money on this site.

    I really don't think the current premium benefits are good enough to justify it. The townhop is great, as is the outfit slots, but extra turnips from forums and that sort of thing is nearly useless when the vast, vast majority of even hardcore players aren't going to max out the current base cap.

    Agree with what's already been said, premium not worth the money with those perks. Glad I only spent potatoes for mine but sucks for people who spent money on it.

    Mainly with the rest here - I've enjoyed the premium perks but without that free spin or item it's not really worth it to me. I won't bother getting a refund but I don't think I'll be getting premium again unless there's a better bonus involved. I love the site and hope there are more enticing offers in the future!

    Ahhh, thank you so much for explaining! This makes more sense now, it was a little ambiguous before.
    I purchased 1 year of premium and still very happy that I did. Glad to continue to support Dappervolk and VERY MUCH enjoying the game :)

    I do agree with the rest by the way, the premium perks aren't really great. I purchased just to show my support! I wouldn't mind seeing some kind of more valuable addition to the perks. I'm not indignant about it though because I purchased just with the intentions to show my support not really to get ahead.
