Premium Badge Clarification!

Hello everyone! We'd like to address and clarify some confusion surrounding the Premium Badge features and their relation to the Monthly Shops!

What Perks do Premium Badges give you?
  • +1 Bonus Spin Point for Pai's Machine of Wonders each month you have premium activated, spin points do not expire!
  • +2 Outfit Save Slots
  • +10 Trades Market Lots at once
  • +1 Potato Bonus tasks per day
  • +1 Stat Boost tasks per day
  • +1 Town Hop per day
  • +2 Max items from minigames per day
  • +2000 potatoes max from minigames per day
  • +2000 potatoes max from forum posts per day
  • Free access to premium undergarments in the wardrobe while Premium is activated

Note: Perks may be adjusted/added to as time goes on! We will update everyone if we adjust/add new perks in the future.

We realize there was some misinformation present in the notification users got when they activated premium prior to July 1st.

This was the notification users got:
As part of your premium member perks, you have received this month's bonus point for the premium shop. Remember to claim an item before it expires!

The notification should say:
As part of this month's premium member perks, you have received 1 bonus spin point for Pai's Machine of Wonders. All spin points go towards getting a bonus free item claim!

We completely understand that this may change some user's views on whether or not they would currently want premium, so we'd like to offer a turnip currency refund to any user who used their premium badge before July 1st, 2020 and would like it refunded.

Send in a ticket in order to:
  1. Get your premium status cancelled.
  2. Get a refund in Turnips for the same amount as the cost of the Premium Badge you used.

We do have a backlog of tickets at the moment, but we promise to get to everyone soon, no ticket will be missed!

Additionally, there was a bug prior to July 1st in which bonus spin points were not being rewarded yet. We've added +1 spin point for Pai's shop to everyone who activated premium prior to July 1st 2020!

    Just to clarify, do I need to always have premium activated to ensure spin points don't expire, or they never expire period. For example, if I have premium for 3 months, don't have it for a month, then start back up, when I start back up will I have four points (past 3 + new month) or just the 1 because I let it lapse for a month?

    well i can't use it rly then ? it's actually quite bad that you NEED to have turnips to be able to claim to bonus thing
    like if u promised one thing why would u guys change it ?
    and for people like me who hasn't bought / obtained turnips it's actually totally USELESS
    i bought my premium badge the other day and it said i was promised a thing and now i'm not ?
    i mean,,,, ngl it's disappointing

    What's the point of getting a refund, though? We can't spend the premium currency on anything else (besides the premium shop), so just having 5k turnips sit in my currencies does no good. I get it's not feasible economically to refund the actual $$$ spent but this isn't really a viable option unless you allow people to start trading turnips amongst each other.

    Yeah, I agree with a lot of the other users. I think it's not quite worth it. If at all possible, I think you guys should consider changing it a bit, adding more.

    I'm gonna ride out this month and see how it goes, though. I do want to support the site. Though I probably won't go for it again until it changes.

    Ahh, this makes more sense. Unfortunately, I don't find that this makes premium worth it, at least for myself.

    Were it that I got one free spin on that machine per month, I'd be more inclined to keep mine, but for right now all the current rewards just aren't worth the current price. Thank you for the clarification nonetheless, I'm loving Dappervolk regardless!

    Dang. Glad I didn't spring for premium. I didn't jump on it because there wasn't a list of the perks. Most of those perks wouldn't really help out at all. I'm really glad to see a clear list of what's included instead of relying on hearsay. Thanks for making a list.
