Hello everyone! This update is here to launch the Custom Maker submission queue as well as to introduce some new items to Agnes' Shop! We'll also be outlining the next update below. Thanks for reading!
What are Custom Makers?
Custom Makers are legendary rare items that all NPC shops have a chance of dropping. If you obtain one, you can visit the submission page, along with the FAQ here!

Queue Production Info
Custom pets and items are drawn by official site artists. We will be completing one batch of custom content per month, the size of the batch depending on our overall art work load that month.

Custom Pet Rarity
Custom pets will now all be Mythical rarity rather than the existing Quaint, Fantastical, and Legendary rarities. Mythical rarity pets have the stats and affection of Fantastical pets but also have a chance at being born with luck, similar to legendary pets.

Custom Item/Pet Copies
There will be a way to buy copies of your custom item/pet added some time next month, once some completed designs are added to the system. We'll provide more details on this function when we finalize them!

If you are a Kickstarter Backer for the Custom Maker Tiers:
Please include the item redemption code associated with your Kickstarter bundle in the description area and after verifying that you're the backer, we will expedite your place in the queue to the front. If you've misplaced your code, your Kickstarter/Backerkit email that you pledged with can also work. Please send in a ticket to double check if unsure!Agnes has some items with new functions in stock in her Perpetual Shop! This should help add some variety to her shop stock as well as provide some functions that have been popularly requested by our community.
Note: An "Additional x amount" in this case means that the upgrades will stack on top of your basic/premium amount of slots for each of these items.

• Every month, Pai and Oran from Peddler's Port will have different sets of items in their shops that will retire at the end of the month to be replaced by new stock.
• These items are obtained from far away lands and follow the theme of the land they visited each month.
• All retired items from Monthly Shops will eventually be able to be obtained very rarely from Grandma Agnes later on.

CUSTOM MAKER SUBMISSION
Read our FAQ and Submission Rules here! We'll be doing our utmost to ensure a smooth launch as well as prioritizing our Kickstarter backers who pledged for the custom maker tiers. Read our FAQ for submission instructions if you are a Custom Maker Kickstarter backer.

SPRING EVENT
Our team is hard at work on the upcoming spring event which will most likely take place some time this month! We are planning on a series of quests and seasonal content, a revamped version of the 2020 Summer Event (the summer event this year will be a new event type!), various contests and other goodies!

NEW UPCOMING CONTENT
We have a lineup of new content coming this month, including but not limited to:

• A first batch of Kickstarter Backer designed content.
• Some items with new functionalities added to Agnes' Perpetual Shop.
• A new batch of outline updates on existing items.
  

LOUISE HILL RIDDLE CONTEST RESULTS
We've been dedicating bits of time in our schedule as much as we can to finishing the contest judging and the entries are almost fully judged now, we'll be rolling prizes and announcing winners some time this month. To apologize for the wait, we'll be coming up with some extra prizes or other bonuses to be announced with the winners news post. Thank you for your patience all this time!

For any future riddle contests, we'll be making sure to judge entries as they come in so that results can be announced quickly after the contest ends. This contest was unfortunately tangled up in our early post-site launch work load.

BALANCING & CHANGELOGS
Coming up is a changelog outlining a summary of every update/fix that occurred during closed development after Beta Testing ended. This task has been on our list for a while, but other updates and tasks affecting the current state of the site had higher priority. We'll be rolling out this changelog once we can dedicate some time into compiling it.

We are prioritizing our custom maker launch fully now after the Winter Event. Read our FAQ and Submission Rules here! We'll be doing our utmost to ensure a smooth launch as well as prioritizing our Kickstarter backers who pledged for the custom maker tiers.

VAER REEF QUEST UPDATE
As the Winter Event is now over, we're continuing forward with remaining adjustments and the affection milestone side quests for Vaer Reef!

KICKSTARTER DESIGNER CONTENT
Since the end of the Kickstarter before Beta, we've been in touch with our Designer Tier backers and have been slowly working with them in the background. Some opted to wait until launch to finalize their designs and some are still in the process of decision making, but we're slowly building up batches of completed content which will be added to the site periodically as things are completed! We're excited to showcase what our backers have come up with with the rest of the community. Designer Backed content (ie. Items, pets etc) will contain written credit in the form of the backer's username and ID.

BALANCING & CHANGELOGS
We've been working on a number of balancing plans and changelogs, including the following:

• A roadmap for extensive adjustments to improve the game's flow and sense of reward, as well as boosting play longevity. This would include adjustments to daily quests, certain story quest requirements, and other QoL and content improvements. This is something in our priority list that may take some time as it requires a great deal of care put into balancing.
• A changelog outlining a summary of every update/fix that occurred during closed development after Beta Testing ended.
  

Here are some plans for improvements for future events like this that we've accumulated from hosting this event!

• For the sake of future gifting events, we'll be working on balancing item rarity better across the site.
• We’ll be looking into the rarity matching of gift donations vs. claims to see if we can equalize the system better.
• We’ll be adjusting Pai’s daily quest “Perusing the Constellation Library” to have a better indication of unlock progress on the final quest. For future quests with this style of unlock, the progress will also be shown more clearly.
• We’ll be looking into adjusting the layout of the Winter Tree so that less scrolling is required to see the main content.
• We’ll be adding easier tracking of the event currencies in the winter tree.
• We’ll be improving on our contest threads that we tried out this event in order to make the experience better.
  

Our next event is going to be a Spring Event! Before that, we will be working on launching a number of other updates which we'll be posting more info about soon.
