SPRING EVENT
Our team is hard at work on the upcoming spring event which will most likely take place some time this month! We are planning on a series of quests and seasonal content, a revamped version of the 2020 Summer Event (the summer event this year will be a new event type!), various contests and other goodies!

NEW UPCOMING CONTENT
We have a lineup of new content coming this month, including but not limited to:

• A first batch of Kickstarter Backer designed content.
• Some items with new functionalities added to Agnes' Perpetual Shop.
• A new batch of outline updates on existing items.
  

LOUISE HILL RIDDLE CONTEST RESULTS
We've been dedicating bits of time in our schedule as much as we can to finishing the contest judging and the entries are almost fully judged now, we'll be rolling prizes and announcing winners some time this month. To apologize for the wait, we'll be coming up with some extra prizes or other bonuses to be announced with the winners news post. Thank you for your patience all this time!

For any future riddle contests, we'll be making sure to judge entries as they come in so that results can be announced quickly after the contest ends. This contest was unfortunately tangled up in our early post-site launch work load.

BALANCING & CHANGELOGS
Coming up is a changelog outlining a summary of every update/fix that occurred during closed development after Beta Testing ended. This task has been on our list for a while, but other updates and tasks affecting the current state of the site had higher priority. We'll be rolling out this changelog once we can dedicate some time into compiling it.

We are prioritizing our custom maker launch fully now after the Winter Event. Read our FAQ and Submission Rules here! We'll be doing our utmost to ensure a smooth launch as well as prioritizing our Kickstarter backers who pledged for the custom maker tiers.

VAER REEF QUEST UPDATE
As the Winter Event is now over, we're continuing forward with remaining adjustments and the affection milestone side quests for Vaer Reef!

KICKSTARTER DESIGNER CONTENT
Since the end of the Kickstarter before Beta, we've been in touch with our Designer Tier backers and have been slowly working with them in the background. Some opted to wait until launch to finalize their designs and some are still in the process of decision making, but we're slowly building up batches of completed content which will be added to the site periodically as things are completed! We're excited to showcase what our backers have come up with with the rest of the community. Designer Backed content (ie. Items, pets etc) will contain written credit in the form of the backer's username and ID.

BALANCING & CHANGELOGS
We've been working on a number of balancing plans and changelogs, including the following:

• A roadmap for extensive adjustments to improve the game's flow and sense of reward, as well as boosting play longevity. This would include adjustments to daily quests, certain story quest requirements, and other QoL and content improvements. This is something in our priority list that may take some time as it requires a great deal of care put into balancing.
• A changelog outlining a summary of every update/fix that occurred during closed development after Beta Testing ended.
  

Here are some plans for improvements for future events like this that we've accumulated from hosting this event!

• For the sake of future gifting events, we'll be working on balancing item rarity better across the site.
• We’ll be looking into the rarity matching of gift donations vs. claims to see if we can equalize the system better.
• We’ll be adjusting Pai’s daily quest “Perusing the Constellation Library” to have a better indication of unlock progress on the final quest. For future quests with this style of unlock, the progress will also be shown more clearly.
• We’ll be looking into adjusting the layout of the Winter Tree so that less scrolling is required to see the main content.
• We’ll be adding easier tracking of the event currencies in the winter tree.
• We’ll be improving on our contest threads that we tried out this event in order to make the experience better.
  

Our next event is going to be a Spring Event! Before that, we will be working on launching a number of other updates which we'll be posting more info about soon.

The Present Tree with Agnes

• This is an anonymous present donation and claim tree run by Agnes!
• Roll tasks to wrap presents and donate them to the tree.
• You can donate an unlimited number of gifts and claim up to 3 per day, 1 for each donation you make that day.
• Gift donation and claiming will be sorted by rarity, meaning generally you will get a similar rarity item to what you tend to donate!
• Additional prizes can be claimed as you hit total donation milestones, they will give out special event prizes not within the user created pool!
• After the event ends, there will be 4 days of free present claiming on an individual cooldown timer for the left over present pool.
• This will go on for 4 days or until the pool is depleted.
  

• You may see the above button on user profiles or in the forums.
• By clicking the button, you can gift any user a Wrapping Paper item for free once every 15 minutes!
• You will receive notifications informing you of users sending you free wrapping paper.
  

• First speak to Pai at Peddler's Port to begin part 1 of the Winter quest line, called "A Search for the Unknown"
• After completing it, a repeatable Daily Event Quest will be unlocked for Pai: "Perusing the Constellation Library" Completing their daily tasks up to 3x each day will earn you event currency, as well as help to unlock the rest of the event story quest line.
• There will be a total of 3 Winter story quests to experience during this event!
  

WAYS TO OBTAIN

• Being granted by other users using the GIFT WRAPPING PAPER button on profiles and forum posts.
• Completing the Daily Event Quest from Pai, called "Perusing the Constellation Library" This daily can be done 3 times a day, totalling 15 Wrapping Papers.
• Completing the Agnes' Daily Gift repeatable quest, which can be completed once a day, totalling 5 Wrapping Papers.
  

WAYS TO OBTAIN

• Claiming Additional Prizes at Agnes' Winter Gift Tree.
• Completing the Event Daily Quest from Pai, called "Perusing the Constellation Library" which can be done 3 times a day, totalling 15 Scraps of Knowledge.
• Completing the Agnes' Daily Gift repeatable quest, which can be completed once a day, totalling 5 Scraps of Knowledge.
• Completing the other Event Seasonal Quests.
• Random Item Alchemy
• Random Events in Peddler's Port as well as other areas.
  

• Agnes' Winter Boutique shop will open 3 days into the event on March 6th at 11:59PM DVT.
• The shop will remain open until March 22nd at 11:59PM DVT.
• Shop stock will include all seasonal winter clothing, totems, and more!
