...it’s taken until today for me to realize our “prize” for completing the main goal is unlocking the bonus goals. Lol . I’m quick.

Dilla (#35971) I thought that as well, but if you double check the announcement you'll find that we actually unlocked a quest for after the event! The overtime goals are little bonuses for filling up the bar even more.

We are on our way to unlock the top for that toga :D

The claiming system is extremely frustrating. I was 2/3 on Lilia, claimed 'Turn In Embers' because it was due and forgot it would completely reset Lilia, and now can't claim her second chunk of points. Some kind of alternative, like being able to fill in Fantasia's quests as well, would have been nice. And since the margin on Elite is so close, even with the extra tasks, little things like that add up.

Novel (#836) ah! Ok, that makes a lot more sense then.

As others have mentioned, the extra button where you have to claim a task on certain tasks before completing it is unnecessary and very frustrating. It's costing people valuable points when they forget to claim the task before completing it or accidentally cancel it.

Yay, Overtime #2 progress bar unlocked. ^^

I'm really disappointed to see the black outlines on the new items. You'd think by now they would have stuck to the painterly style that was advertised initially, especially with so many people being disappointed by it.

Like others, I wish we didn’t have to actively claim a task before completing it. I missed out on a chunk of points bu hatching a pet without claiming that task when it was first released. Such a disappointment!

I would really strongly suggest only having to remember to turn IN a task, not claim it, in future events.

i personally dont mind the button of claiming the task. For me forgetting to claim is like - raising the affection of a pet before accepting a quest that is raising the affection of a pet. I consider it kinda part of the whole challenge if that makes sense. But I do understand where the others are coming from - I've also lost points due to this lol.

Now that the whole event has been revealed, I do not mind it as much. The only issue with it is that the staff did not respond to questions which just made things seem really unattainable in the beginning. ''the rest of the tasks will have higher rewards'' and I think it would have put a lot of people to ease, but all we heard was that we got one less town hop and the leaderboard being removed.

But this is all a learning experience, and hopefully the next event will have been improved from this one!

I don't want to get needlessly wordy with feedback, but the bottom line for me is that I don't *dislike* this event, but I agree with a point others have made: the timing aspect of it making it so that if I want the maximum rewards, I have to be hovering on my computer constantly all day (checking in every 20 minutes means I can't get involved in literally anything away from my computer). It's unhealthy, and I don't like that the event encourages that kind of thing.

Mind you, I'm still doing it because I'm an idiot. But even though it's not anyone else's fault but my own that I can't govern myself better, I would love to see Dappervolk not cater to that kind of problematic gameplay and instead arrange events in a way that does not infringe upon users having a life outside of this site.

The fact that I'm groaning about this event being on right now when I have things I want to get done is not the kind of energy I expect Dappervolk is looking to generate.

Yall do realize u dont have to be on the computer 24/7 to get max points... right 😳

I don't know if you've looked at the chart or calculated yourself, but you DO have to be hovering over the computer off and on for around 14 hours of the day to get max points.

Nekomimi (#23461) Many of us are online for insanely long hours trying to get Elite. It may not be 24/7 but it's still an all day affair, every day, which is what people are complaining about. The bottom line is that DV is still promoting unhealthy game play. :(
