SIGNI'S LOTUS FESTIVAL
A fragrant breeze creates ripples across the serenity of clear spring waters. Lanterns and lotus blooms alike twinkle in the light of day or the timidness of night.

  • There are 3 quests in total to be unlocked in succession.
  • "The Lotus Festival" is a daily repeatable quest which can be completed 4 times per day.
  • Lian's Temple Stall is open again for the month of April!
  • Stocked are Signi's items, with 1 new item available!
  • Signi's seasonal currency "Ceramic Scale" can be obtained from seasonal quests in the Lotus Pavilion as well as through several other regular site mechanics.

MAJOR CODEBASE VERSION UPDATES
Along with our amphibian wonders, we'll be busy this month with updating several aspects of the codebase to keep up to date with security and compatibility. We may experience some downtime here and there along with potential bugs and areas of the site temporarily not working. We'll be keeping a close eye on everything and working to update and fix things as smoothly as possible. Status posts will be shared if we're anticipating down time or maintenance. Thank you for your cooperation!

UPCOMING NICO AVATAR CONTEST
We'll be having another Nico's Avatar Contest later this month, run by our kindly community managers. More info will be shared when we're closer to the start time!

CUSTOM QUEUE STATUS
We're a little behind on the current batch of customs due to our workload last month, but should be getting caught up relatively early this month. Thank you for your patience!

ROADMAP UPDATES
With the introduction of new features in our latest changelog post such as the previewing system as well as content updates like the Aviar Cove balancing, we've been chipping away at our current priorities list in the Roadmap.

Our most recent QoL and new feature updates have been in preparation for our major marketplace updates that we're working on. We may be releasing more partial updates like this as long as they can stand alone on our road to completing the overhaul of the trades market as well as the new pet accessory and customs markets. Our Roadmap thread will be updated accordingly when we're ready!

    For those who may not be aware: With prior monthly sets, hatchables have been available for purchase as separate, independent entities from the chest. So hatchables have not been ‘separated’ from the chests for the benefit of players who would just like to buy just the clothes or just the pet. As you could traditionally buy the clothes and hatchable separately from each other, without having to buy the chest. What’s actually happened here is that the hatchable has been ‘removed’ from the chest, altogether. Making both the hatchable and clothing, combined, more expensive to purchase from the Pai Shop. Based on some of the responses that I’ve seen, I can see how this phrasing can come across as misleading. So I just wanted to take a moment to shed some light, for those who might have gotten confused by this.

    Since you asked for opinions: I’d like to express mine as honestly and respectfully, as possible. I think that the aspect of this change that is most upsetting for players isn’t the price increase itself but, rather, how you chose to go about it. As the choice of wording that was used in this news post can come across as somewhat strategic and misleading.

    Positive changes don’t require active monitoring. Only changes that are anticipated to be perceived as negative do.

    So my finger accidentally slipped while I was in the process of organizing my thoughts, in that last post. So that last sentence didn’t quite come out the way I wanted it to. Regardless, I did want to end on a positive note by taking a moment to say that I’m loving all of the new content updates. As well as all of the cute April Fools shenanigans, the Signi Event, and all of the other quality of life changes that have been made to the site since its inception. I can see that a lot of love and hard work went into all of that, so I’d like to express my appreciation and gratitude to the team. I’m really excited for the upcoming Frog Update, as well as to see what the future brings.

    i would like to suggest adding the pet back to the chest and also keeping separate hatchables that you can buy on the side as extras.
    people like to price gouge on the hatchables, and it would be more convenient to get them in the chests without having to buy them at hiked up prices from other people.
    pets are way more desirable than clothing sets, so packing them in with the clothing set makes paying the 2 mil every month feel worth it. without the hatchable included, now i feel like i'm being ripped off.

    I don't understand why they don't just do a chest with the hatchable pets and one without... with the regular option of just buying it separately! that I feel would be the solution to this all, allows the peeps who want pets to get em and the peeps who want clothes to get them. This seems like a silly change which is more pricey..

    "If I may suggest something, please make it so that the monthly previews thread doesn't use the hover over... but in the previews thread it defeats the purpose of being able to see the entire set separately... Please consider reverting the format going forward. Thank you."

    The price and the separation are just...nah. Especially with the cost of everything going up irl, paying so much for a digital good to make my avi look cuter that I'll probably toss aside for later anyway - I can buy an entire video game for that much and get way more investment for the cost.

    But I hope that removing the pet from the chest can be made optional. It's already hard enough getting the chests...now gotta add the pet on the side and with a higher overall prices orz

    Not a fan of separating the hatching item from the chest (especially since it costs more than before, both for the people who get them for turnips and the people who are buying the chests in trade market for potatoes. I was able to get a chest with a pet for the same price as chest with no pet now.)
    I know you are trying to listen to people, but tbh, polls would be a better idea (just like Magician above mentioned). I am not surprised people are leaving the game even though I can see that you are trying.
