For those who may not be aware: With prior monthly sets, hatchables have been available for purchase as separate, independent entities from the chest. So hatchables have not been ‘separated’ from the chests for the benefit of players who would just like to buy just the clothes or just the pet. As you could traditionally buy the clothes and hatchable separately from each other, without having to buy the chest. What’s actually happened here is that the hatchable has been ‘removed’ from the chest, altogether. Making both the hatchable and clothing, combined, more expensive to purchase from the Pai Shop. Based on some of the responses that I’ve seen, I can see how this phrasing can come across as misleading. So I just wanted to take a moment to shed some light, for those who might have gotten confused by this.

Since you asked for opinions: I’d like to express mine as honestly and respectfully, as possible. I think that the aspect of this change that is most upsetting for players isn’t the price increase itself but, rather, how you chose to go about it. As the choice of wording that was used in this news post can come across as somewhat strategic and misleading.

Positive changes don’t require active monitoring. Only changes that are anticipated to be perceived as negative do.
