Not a fan of separating the hatching item from the chest (especially since it costs more than before, both for the people who get them for turnips and the people who are buying the chests in trade market for potatoes. I was able to get a chest with a pet for the same price as chest with no pet now.)
I know you are trying to listen to people, but tbh, polls would be a better idea (just like Magician above mentioned). I am not surprised people are leaving the game even though I can see that you are trying.
