POST-EVENT MAINTENANCE TIME
  • There will be a short 15-30 minute planned maintenance downtime at 12:30AM DVT tonight, where we will be unlocking the new event quest for everyone, as well as removing all Shimmering Embers.

ADDITIONAL POST-EVENT INFO
  • The event quest, "Lilia & Fantasia's Summer Festival" will be available to begin by speaking to Lilia until the end of September! After which it will seasonally return next year.
  • If you weren't able to participate as much as you would've liked this summer, don't worry! The seasonal nature of this event means that it and all of its associated prize items will return again.
  • We'll be adding onto seasonal events every time they come around each year, so stay tuned for what new things may lie in store for next summer!
  • We'd also like to thank everyone for the feedback provided surrounding the event, and will be striving to improve for next year!

NOTICE: It appears that the unlocked overtime rewards have not processed yet, our main backend developer is working on this and these rewards should be distributed to everyone soon!

Some people seem upset the items repeat but I honestly think it’s the best solution to the stress, but a good idea to encourage people to participate each year would be alchemizable color variants, would be good for the economy too. And there’s be no stress to get it all one year, it would be a long term goal!

The next bullet did say that they were also going to be adding new items to the pool. It makes it both fair for new players who weren't able to join and there would be still something new for old players ^^

Theres so much feedback or whatever I'm just obsessing over Lilia and Fantasia holding hands in the new pic. Look at them. I love them so much...

I'm happy to hear that the prizes will repeat next years aside new prizes in the pool, I really hate that classical MMORPG event system where if you lost something in a event you will lost forever because it never will back again, and I think that unobtainable items in pet sites are a little sick.

Subeta has a seasonal shop system that makes available every item from past versions of the event and they are buyable with seasonal points valid for that shop only. Speaking of fair events.
I mean, I would hate to work the same way again for the same prize (even if there are new items); a point shop system is better, you work as much as you want or need and get what you want or need.

    Take away the outlines!!!!

Painterly- characterized by qualities of color, stroke, and texture rather than of line.

Great event but I'm disappointed by the outline work on the items. It clashes so badly.

    I got 16,000 points yet was given Silver..? ;-;
  • Villager Sveltie (#839) 6 Sep 2020, 9:39 am
Honor (#20289) I believe you needed at least 20,000 for gold tier.
  • Villager Honor (#20289) 6 Sep 2020, 10:20 am
Sveltie (#839) Oh wow...i’m a dummy. I thought the “+15000” meant that was how many points I needed. I’ve been so busy and mind-boggled lately that I didn’t read properly. -sighs-

the outlines on the items look even worse on avatar than in the icon previews... that is so unfortunate. i dont really have any hope for the avatar items going back to a painterly style. in one announcement it was said the outlines would be removed but that is so hard to believe with items continue to be released with the outlines. but it would be nice if we could have some clear, transparent communication on that front. as its the most posted in suggestion thread, and has been for some time.

at least i got those pretty wings. although from the comments it seems you cant have a background at the same time?? why??? that .. seems like a really strange limitation. and if it was gonna be a limitation yall prolly should have warned the userbase haha so they knew what they were grinding for

Also.. uh can people seriously stop and take a look at their behavior? The staff worked hard on this event and it was their first event since beta. The artwork can be "fixed" pretty easily and existing items would be updated. Calm down and be respectful, the existence of this site and events are a luxury. Let's appreciate it.
