Nico has been working quickly and furiously, filling the orders of ever more slumber party goers requesting various sleepwear. They vaguely wonder if they've bitten off more than they can chew, so to speak.

Another Custom Maker Giveaway is now live!
Entries will close on July 3rd, 11:59PM DVT

There are two Custom Maker grand prizes, type chosen by the winners.
One can be won through entering on the site thread and another through sharing on social media.
There are additional participation and runner up prizes for all entrants!
Only first time custom maker owners are eligible to win the grand prizes this time, though anyone can participate for the other prizes!
The winners will be announced on site once the giveaway concludes and winners are drawn.

Welcome to Dappervolk's 4th Anniversary Celebration! We're so happy you're here with us to indulge in the festivities of both the Pearl Gala and Nico's Pajama Party.

EVENT DURATION ♦ June 21st - July 12th

While helping out with an abundance of orders for the Pearl Gala, Nico is beginning to feel the fatigue and has decided to also simultaneously organize a slumber party for Gala goers to have some restful nights away from their hastily built travellers' tents.

The busy tailor is nothing if not motivated, always planning things even if what they truly need is a good long nap.

The Pearl Gala Gift Shop has been stocked with various sleep wear for the Pajama Party, with more being added as Nico churns out new designs.

All new items this year can be obtained from completing "The Pearl Gala" quest and other Peddler's Port dailies for a week.

The Pearl Gala returns in full force this year, with all items returning in the gift shop as well as trinkets being given out through many avenues.

Pearl Trinkets can be used to buy Anniversary items.

They can be obtained in the following ways:

POLL #1: Monthly Pet Bundling Options

When a monthly set includes a pet, what kind of bundling would you prefer?

Premium chests should stay the same and include the pet hatching item as it was in past months, with the pet hatching item also being sold separately for 500 turnips.

Premium chests should contain only the clothing items at a discount, with the pet hatching item sold separately with its own discounted bundle.

There should be 2 different chests, one which includes just the clothing and one which includes both the clothing and pet hatching item.

Hi everyone! After reading and observing user feedback about the cost of premium chests when a hatchable is included, we have decided to look for your direct feedback on this in the form of a poll.

We have some propositions on what we could do as an alternative, so please cast your vote and comment your thoughts on what you'd most prefer!

NOTES

Regardless of voting outcome, we'll be mindful of the pricing on monthly item totals in order to stay consistent with the discounts that have typically been offered.
Option #3 means the creation of a different chest for just the clothing , with the new chest containing only clothing.
Feel free to suggest your own ideas if the poll options don't quite cover what you would prefer.
These three options are compiled from what we've seen most frequently on the Suggestion Forums and are also the options that are most feasible for us!

Oran's Emporium is stocking these 9 clothing items this month for 9,000 potatoes per spin!

These monthly shop clothing items will run until June 30th, after which they will be removed to house July's monthly items!

With the arrival of the Summer season, a new Seasonal Pet has appeared for the year of 2024!

The ingredients to make the hatching item can be found in Pai, Agnes, and Oran's shops' Bonus Prize pools.
The item alchemy recipe is available in your recipe book and shown above.
This Seasonal Pet will remain in the shops for 3 months and rotate out at the end of August to be replaced by a pet for the next season.
Seasonal pets are obtainable annually on a rotation! The hatching items can be alchemized at any time of the year.

2023 Summer Shard Pets
The Summer Shards from 2023 have returned to Pai and Agnes' Shops this year at a flat rate of 500 turnips, and Oran's Bonus Claim. Alchemize 2 Summer Ribbon + 3 Summer Potion to create the Summer Chalice hatching item!

2022 Summer Shard Pets
The Summer Shards from 2022 have returned to Pai and Agnes' Shops this year at a flat rate of 500 turnips, and Oran's Bonus Claim. Alchemize 3 Summer Seed + 1 Summer Soil + a Mixer Potion to create the Summer Fruit hatching item!

DATABASE UPDATE STATUS
We're still working on fixing bugs related to recent updates as well as proceeding with testing of additional system updates we're working on. We'll be keeping everyone posted if a new update is being pushed to the site with potential new bugs appearing as a result.

It's Dappervolk's Anniversary month! We're excited to have some mini festivities for our 4th year with new items, pets, and also returning anniversary items! Thank you for your support all this time, we look forward to many more years here with everyone in our community.

VAER REEF BALANCING UPDATE
Our preparations and work on content for the Vaer Reef Update is still underway! We'll be sharing teasers here and there when we're ready.

The Frog Pond • Part 2

Part 2 of the Frog Update has arrived!

The burbling of the pond's small tributaries grow ever more cheerful as the days go on. Small fish and dainty legged insects make their way through the lush vegetation covering swaths of the water's surface.

THE FROG GATHERING EVENT
Event Ends at 11:59PM DVT June 8th, 2024

This is a gathering event to help boost the community's initial frog coins.
Gather Tadpole Tokens by finding gatherables around the site.
Water other users' frog buddies in order to grow their pond plants.
Alchemize Tadpole Tokens to receive Frog Coins!

All Frog Gathering participants will receive the Sleepy Frog Trophy at the end of the event! There are also some secret wigglers obtainable through hidden means via Paulie's quest.

With the arrival of frog gathering, Paulie's Trolley has seen an expansion of new items and pets!

There are 10 new clothing, 2 hatch shards, 1 food item, and a menagerie pen and post border to collect.

There are also 2 new quaint pets, a new fantastical and a new legendary to collect! Recipes are now stocked in the Officiator's Record Office.

This has been one of our first potato sink focused updates, so we'd like to share some plans as well as discussions with everyone about it. There have been many ideas posted about different kinds of potato sinks and mechanics we can try to balance the Trades Market, here's a short list of some key types we'll be exploring in future updates.

Additional Incremental Potato Sinks

These are normally tied to a themed content drop of some kind similar to the Frog update.
The idea behind this type of sink is that it tackles the max potatoes that can be earned through site mechanics daily and helps stabilize Market prices that way.
We have several future plans for sinks of this type and are closely monitoring feedback in regards to how it's presented and how it feels in this update so far.

Large Sum Potato Sinks

This includes any items sold in shops for a very high flat potato sale price.
We don't currently have shop stock of this type anywhere, which is something we're planning to add in the future!

Mechanic Tax Potato Sinks

These are potato fees for using various parts of the site, ranging from more cosmetic things to convenience based mechanics to taxes or fees on different areas of the game.
There are a multitude of possibilities with this sink type which we're excited to explore and will be mindfully planning with future feature updates as well as new features.

Co-op Donation Potato Sinks
These could help unlock new features such as new content in shops, new NPC's etc and require the community to chip in potatoes until fulfilled. We have some ideas on how to implement this with future content drops!
