This event type is one of two event types that we currently have. This is the third iteration of the Co-op type event and our Winter event was the first iteration of the Gifting type event. We'll be making adjustments to each event type in order to improve them each year.
Here are some plans for improvements for future co-op type events that we've accumulated with the feedback from hosting this event!
- In order to reduce stress, we're planning to outline more clearly the amount of play/effort required to obtain rewards in events going forward.
- We'll be looking to avoid awarding duplicate event items as rewards for different aspects of the event while keeping them accessible to all participants.
- We're planning to do a rework of the Co-op event type to achieve the following:
- Allow more freedom to do the tasks you want to do by having tasks and points passively track from the start of the event.
- Incorporate more of a co-op element to the event by adjusting tasks and the main event bar.
- Add a new mechanic unique to this event type that isn't simply highlighting existing site mechanics.
Our next event will be a Fall event some time in October! We'll be launching our first iteration of a whole new event type. We've decided to forego the Summer event this year due to the Spring event having been delayed into summer, this should give us a bit of a headstart on the upcoming Fall festivities and allow us to get on schedule.
You're fondly watching the sun set with the First Mate
and Johaness beside the ship's newly patched hull. It's a
rare moment of quiet after the ruckus of reconstruction.
Johaness looks wistfully content, gazing with bright eyes
into the horizon. No doubt, a new point of wonder has
alighted in the oceans for his daydreams and hopes
for the future.

Hopefully the seasonal event schedule will be caught up in the future, but it’s totally understandable that something would be skipped to help ensure that~
Despite the problems that pet sites and other online games often face in the earlier years, experiencing these events and learning from them together (first year NotN on FR anyone???), I know we will all hold fond memories of these early events and embrace any changes in the future!! <3
Much love to staff and everyone who participated! I hope everyone had fun, and I hope everyone enjoys the bountiful profits of their sea spheres and sea wisp totems in the days ahead <3
This event is very fun! I love how the staffs try their best to understand the reasonable requests from users and did improvements even in mid-campaign. Yall even make improvement plans for the future! If anything, it's making me more excited to participate in the next event with my buddies \(≧▽≦)/
Fall is mah fav season, so very excited for it hnggg o( ≧▽≦ )o
A lot of creators/teams often feel like they have to push through and make everything even when there's no time, and it often takes its toll on the quality of the work and happiness of the workers, so this is absolutely the right choice. Also, kudos for actively looking for feedback and utilizing it to improve so quickly!
I'm relieved that ranking based rewards are truly gone as it takes away a lot of the stress caused when already run out of items in the first few days.
I hope the next event will be just as nice as this one
I really liked the following aspects of this event;
-♡The little town
-♡The short story
-♡The sidequest with the officiator
Also, the items were pretty♡
Looking forward to seeing how the changes are implemented in the future and very much looking forward to see how the new event type goes in fall. Glad you're giving yourselves time to get a headstart on that and let's see how it goes!
Not sure about a button to enter the contest from the wardrobe, but at least a 'generate outfit/avatar image link' that you can directly post in the entry thread. Same way the scrying workshop on FR generates an image link for scried dragons that can be used on the forums.
