August 20th Updates!
Hello everyone, we hope you're well. We have a quick update for you on some new features, fixes, and upcoming things we've been working on behind the scenes!
STORAGE BOX
We now have a storage box for all items you want to keep safely!
The storage box is located in the Inventory page via the Storage tab.

Summer Festivities EventA reminder that our Summer Festivities Event begins on August 20th, 2020 @ 11:59:59pm DVT! We're excited to share in the celebration with you! Guild Creation
We'll be officially opening Guild Creation soon, after we get the event running smoothly!
We're nearly ready and are doing our final rounds of tests and fixes to make sure it's as bug free as possible. Custom Maker Submission
The custom maker submission system will be officially opened after we have Guild Creation open!

We have a few art asset related updates that we will be slowly rolling out in between higher priority features!
Clothing Additions & Adjustments
Adventuring Sprite Appearance Icons
To give users a better idea of what a sprite appearance looks like before they purchase or equip it, we're working on more detailed minisprite icons to replace the current circular colour swatch ones.

STORAGE BOX
We now have a storage box for all items you want to keep safely!
The storage box is located in the Inventory page via the Storage tab.
- All items in the inventory can be moved to storage by selecting the items as normal within the inventory.
- All items in storage cannot be traded, gifted, alchemized, used in quests, given to pets, etc.
- To withdraw items from the storage box, simply go to the storage tab and select items to withdraw.
- Withdrawn items return to the inventory.
Smaller Updates
- Item Tooltips now display the item type upon mouseover with colour coding!
- Some parsing issues were causing the word filter to occasionally not work, this should now be fixed!
- The Referral and Registration page text have been updated to be more accurate!

Clothing Additions & Adjustments
- More skintones will be added to the early game in the future, including a larger variety of darker skintones!
- We'll be gradually adjusting the darker outlines on some early game items to be subtler while still working well with darker skins.
- A few items that were updated during closed development seem to have unintentionally gotten less saturated, we'll be correcting this over time as well.
- We've added a function to set a pause to animated items which we'll be utilizing later for new as well as existing animated items. This should help alleviate the cluttered effect of an animated item looping immediately.

What I'm not happy about? How misleading the timing on the event is. At this point you're intending to start the event *one second* before the 21st. At that point why get our hopes up that it'll get started technically today instead of technically tomorrow? Why not just say the event starts on the 21st? I cannot understand the logic behind this other than perhaps there have been some delays that mean it can't start today but then why not just say that, and still why not change the date?
Can we expect this for all future events, that they'll basically start a day after the announced date? Because that seems.....so strange.
I agree the phrasing for the event start time is a bit awkward. Maybe August 21, 00:00:01 next time? Excited regardless.
Item rarity tooltips are nice, but I'd really like to see a note about what kind of item it is as well - especially with clothing where it's often unclear if something's an accessory or a held item or what.
I'd love to see pet storage/locking/something as an upcoming feature as well - is that happening at all?
However, I'm just concerned by the wording used here. Since the only art that is referred to as having this problem is "early game items".
I believe it is safe to say that the following items also have dark lineart, and it would also be awesome to see these adjusted too: Pet Affection Items, NPC Affection Items, Nico's Items, Human Armour, Some other starter class items, Mothlike and Celestial/Draconic Bundle.
Some users have made mock ups for how the Mothlike bundle could be tweaked, if you want to take a look at page 15 of the Reverse art changes suggestion thread.
