Dappervolk is Recruiting!
Hi everyone, as we've been planning, we're now going to be looking for both Junior Moderators to bolster our current team as well as a new team of Community Managers who will be responsible for community related communication as well as forum events and contest management!
We're hoping to expand and bring our current staff together further to create a closer team environment to develop Dappervolk together.

JUNIOR MODERATOR DUTIES
- Helping and guiding users on the forums (answering questions in the help forum, bug forums etc)
- Keeping the site clean and organized
- Keep track of bug reports for admins
- Helping to discover and address misconduct
- Handle general forum and query related user tickets
IDEAL SKILL SET
- Detail oriented
- Available for a few hours each week according to your availability/timezone

Timezone: We’re looking for moderators in many different timezones in order to ensure that there are staff available at all times on site.
Preferred work schedule: Outline the hours and days of the week you would be available to work as a moderator! This will also help us ensure staff can be available at all times on site, and can be a loose approximation.
Username on Discord: This is required in order to join our staff Discord Servers.
You consent to providing your full name if accepted: Type “Yes” to consent. This is required as you will be signing a moderator contract and an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) in regards to any unreleased Dappervolk content you may see as a moderator. It is however fully confidential and will remain with the site owner only.

COMMUNITY MANAGER DUTIES
- Actively engaging the community on the forums (welcoming newbies, helping in the help forum, responding to user made threads)
- Help plan, organize, maintain, and moderate official event threads
- Help judge official contest entries
- Keeping track of and responding to user suggestions and other threads
IDEAL SKILL SET
- Active and positive presence on forums
- Able to commit to responsibilities surrounding staff run contests
- Experience with Google Sheets
- Experience with graphics making (Photoshop etc) is a plus

WORK TIME
Jr. Moderators and Community Managers will be expected to help out on the site at least a few hours each week and can schedule their own work times each month.
COMPENSATION
These are volunteer positions with an added bonus of periodically granted turnips as long as you continue to be regularly active!
