Seeing the complaints about lack of transparency, this really heavily reminds me of FR's early days. People complained a LOT especially in the first half year? Year? Everyone just needs to... try to take a deep breath and get some perspective. The site does not have enough staff to answer to everything, and no, you honestly cannot compare this sort of job to a regular job, not even one that's heavily CS based. There are literally tens of thousands of registered users for this site, hundreds on at any given time.... Likely if they were as transparent and talkative as it would take to make everyone happy they wouldn't be able to do the rest of their jobs--like answering bug and scam tickets, reworking the coding, processing custom accessories... etc etc etc. It's got to be never-ending. I'm not trying to suggest that people with legitimate complaints should simply be happy with things as they are, but we need to expect that it's probably going to be at least a year before everything is settled out.

I've read a lot of comments that the price for items in Oran's changed this month as a response to inflation, but I don't actually see the devs saying that anywhere. Suggesting that the devs are using this to try to deal with the few people who have managed to amass potato fortunes also seems question worthy: everyone knew in Beta that the KS and Alpha items were going to be incredibly valuable due to their rarity and no matter what potato sinks are built in that is going to remain true and probably become only more intense as the number of users grow; I'd bet a lot of that wealth is sitting in coffers regardless of what gets brought out. So it would be like issuing a retail tax; it won't really affect the 1% the way it would an average person and hopefully the devs are aware of that.... Anyway! At this point, that all seems to be conjecture and people should take it with a grain of salt: it could be that 200 turnips and 9kp is going to be the new norm. A single adjustment isn't enough to establish a pattern. So... I would try to encourage people not to be too worried just yet.

I appreciate at least that this month's set is very pretty--I found it a lot more aesthetically pleasing than the moth stuff, which I only wanted a few pieces of. I'm also very uncertain about the criticism of difference between this set and the last? The color schemes are different, but they're both obviously painterly... I don't see them as being inherently at odds with the rest of the clothing/art on the site.
