i'm here processing the rest of the update now that i've slept. just going to reiterate the sentiment that a lot of other users already have. the shards are a really cool concept, but better suited to a scavenger hunt across the site in standard gameplay. locking them behind absurd amounts of potato and turnip payments is an unfathomably bad idea. if you're trying to look for a way to incentivize the spending of potatoes and turnips, this really isn't it.
