Here are some details on the upcoming Spring Event!
After going through feedback from previous years for the co-op style event, we've made some major updates to this year's event mechanics!
- Instead of a single progress bar for event completion, there will be a series of community milestone prizes which are unlocked by the community's collective efforts.
- Milestone prizes can be claimed by all participants regardless of contribution level once the prize is unlocked.
- There will also be individual prize tiers for dedicated participants.
- The community milestones can be reached by collective donation of a certain currency item which will be rewarded through event mechanics.
- All tasks in the event will be tracked passively after visiting the event page for the first time, garnering donation currency as well as points towards individual prizes.
- There will be a new pet interaction mechanic which generates rewards and cute effects on participating pets!
SEASONAL MAP, NPC, QUESTS, EVENT SHOP
- There will be a new seasonal mini town available to be visited during the event!
- A new seasonal NPC also inhabits this area, with a set of event quests which can be completed for seasonal currency.
- The new seasonal town along with its NPC will disappear once the event ends, to return annually as a seasonal quest.
- An event shop will become accessible on the second day of the event on May 24th at 6pm DVT, stocked with all seasonal items for spring.
- Event currency will be earned through the Co-op Event, Seasonal Event Quests, and various site mechanics.
There will be an Avatar Contest and a Creativity Prompt Contest held during the event!
