Hello world-hoppers! We hope you've been well. Here is a small update on various aspects of the site.
BALANCING
The Word on Shells
Early game balancing can be tricky, as there are parts of the game that already exist onsite which the userbase has not reached yet! For this reason, we've temporarily removed Candied Shells from being obtainable without reaching their respective sea-related towns, as they were not meant to be obtainable yet. In tandem with this, the later town alchemy recipes which utilize Candied Shells have also been temporarily disabled until the community has reached their respective towns. (If you have already learned one of these recipes, it will remain in your recipe book but it will not be visible until enabled once more).
The following has also been implemented as a result:
- All pets that were already hatched from these later town hatching items will be able to be kept by their owners, however they will be account-bound so that they can be enjoyed but not profited off of.
- All of these later town hatching items have been removed from accounts that obtained them, and reimbursed with 1 Wardrobe Drawer Expansion!
Peddler Shops
This is the first time Dappervolk has introduced a restocking/set price type shop, as seen with Nico and the world-hopping Peddlers at Peddler's Port! As such, we're still working on balancing the stock in order to ensure the right kind of demand and market flow.
We'll be making small adjustments throughout the next few days while closely monitoring the market!

You'll be able to obtain the following items during this event through the "Trout and the Rainbows of June" seasonal quest, Adventuring encounters, random item alchemy, and item alchemy recipes!
As a result of the shortened length of this event, we've been adjusting the frequency of obtaining snails while observing the market and balancing. Expect to see some additional snails making their way towards you as the event progresses!

I don't know if they are against trading and selling, but I guess they just want to make it "fair" because this was a glitch, not that people are early users of the site. So pets obtained by a glitch (mistake) are a bit different than pets obtained by people being early members but the site is working as intended.
Honestly when I heard I missed out the glitch I got really sad because I wanted one of the glitched pets to hopefully trade for one of the ks/alpha kitties. (I know that sounds bad).
