With the arrival of the Autumn season, a new Seasonal Pet has appeared!
- The ingredients to make the hatching item can be found in Pai, Agnes, and Oran's shops' Bonus Prize pools.
- The item alchemy recipe is available in your recipe book and shown above.
- This Seasonal Pet will remain in the shops for 3 months and rotate out at the end of November to be replaced by a pet for the next season.
- Seasonal pets are obtainable annually on a rotation! The hatching items can be alchemized at any time of the year.
2022 Autumn Shard Pets
The Autumn Shards from 2022 have returned to Pai and Agnes' Shops this year at a flat rate of 500 turnips, and Oran's Bonus Claim. Alchemize 3 Autumn Seed + 1 Autumn Soil + a Mixer Potion to create the Autumn Fruit hatching item!
2021 Autumn Shard Pets
The Autumn Shards from 2021 have returned to Pai and Agnes' Shops this year at a flat rate of 500 turnips, and Oran's Bonus Claim. Alchemize all 4 Shards + a Mixer Potion to create the Autumn Stone hatching item!

STAFF HIRING STATUS
We're planning to send out email responses to promising applicants within the next week or two in order to begin the onboarding process. Thank you for your patience!
AVIAR COVE BALANCING UPDATE
The planned Aviar Cove balancing update will come with an additional sizeable potato sink content drop as well to help offset inflation! Here is our current progress on it:
Art Assets: 50%
Quest Adjustments: 25%
Inputting/Testing: 10%
FUTURE CONTENT/EVENT PLANS
We've taken a look at our current set of goals and after a good deal of discussion, here are our plans in regards to upcoming events and content drops!
For the next few months, we're going to focus more on upcoming permanent content updates such as balancing updates, potato sinks, and new permanent content in order to bring the base game to the state that we want it to be.
We realized that over time, large scale events had become more and more elaborate as our ambition for the creative side of things grew, thus requiring more assets, writing, and overall time spent preparing each event. While it was a great deal of fun and we're proud of our community and progress, we've realized that the time spent preparing events consumes too much of our work schedule and we want to rework how we approach future events.
The remaining deity events will still happen at some point, but first we're going to spend some efforts to update the game with more permanent content. We'd also eventually like to hold some more large scale events that introduce new permanent content like we did with the Witches' War previously. Thanks for reading our thoughts and decisions on this aspect of Dappervolk's development!
TRADES MARKET UPDATES
We're now working on designing the Trades Market revamp, Pet Accessory market, and Customs market with focus on player feedback and ease of use. We're working on all three at the same time since all three will use a similar trades market system.
This will take some time to launch but we think it will improve the game experience greatly as well as make it much easier for users to get into things like pet accessories and customs trading. The trades market revamp will allow for much easier trade listing as well as system adjustments that fit our community's needs better.

Honestly I think it’s a good decision for the longevity of the site to start really focusing on permanent content, I look forward to seeing what new content we’ll be getting in the coming months :)
Also looking forward to the trades market updates, I long for the day where I don’t have to manually sent out customs :D
The site is way too slow for limited listings. If not unlimited, at least like...30 days as an option.
i'm excited to hear that the trading system is getting a rework! i'm most anticipating that pet accessory market. i can't wait for that day!
also, i do think it's wise to focus on the core of the game if doing events is eating up the work schedule. i like events and how they expand the lore of the game, but it would be nice if the rest of the game could progress at a steadier rate. though, i am grateful that it progresses at all. this is one of the better pet games in my opinion, and i've seen way too many perish. 😓
