With the arrival of the Spring season, a new Seasonal Pet has appeared!

  • The ingredients to make the hatching item can be found in Pai, Agnes, and Oran's shops' Bonus Prize pools.
  • The item alchemy recipe is available in your recipe book and shown above.
  • This Seasonal Pet will remain in the shops for 3 months and rotate out at the end of May to be replaced by a pet for the next season.
  • Seasonal pets are obtainable annually on a rotation! The hatching items can be alchemized at any time of the year.

2022 Spring Shard Pets
The Spring Shards from last year have returned to Pai and Agnes' Shops this spring at a flat rate of 500 turnips, and Oran's Bonus Claim. Alchemize 3 Spring Seed + 1 Spring Soil + a Mixer Potion to create the Spring Fruit hatching item!

WINTER EVENT PROGRESS
Our current progress on the upcoming winter event is the following: 
Art Assets: 70%
Writing: 45%
Coding: 100%
We'll be announcing a start date some time this month when we're ready! In the meantime some info - this event will create a new seasonal town that will be expanded each year with new activities and rewards. It's planned to be the first of one area for each season that will be available along with new events featuring deities and permanent storyline additions.

STAFF HIRING PLANS
We're in the process of preparing materials and updating our system to be ready to bring new staff on board. We're aiming to post a recruitment announcement later this month or early next month.

KELBI SEASONAL PLANS
Kelbi's season is originally this month, however since the Winter event is planned for this month, we're working on still releasing it this spring some time after the Winter event is over. Currently, we're working on the storyline with our writers and will keep you posted on progress for it! We have 4 deities left to release stories for, and we're looking to achieve this by the end of the year with Vaer's month if all goes well.

CUSTOM QUEUE STATUS
Due to various IRL obstacles last month, we had to push the current batch of custom releases to this month. We're on the way to completing and claiming the next batch before mid month. Thanks for your patience as we worked through priorities!

NEXT PRIORITIES ON THE ROADMAP
Once the winter event and staff recruitment are complete, we're planning to focus on the following as our main priorities:

    I'm so tired of not being able to keep up with the yearly seasonal pets. We also just had a Pai pet last month, getting this sprung on us again is disappointing. I've noticed there's a huge cash creep going on, and I can't justify spending money since the site updates are coming out at a snail's pace (pun intended??). My remaining interest on this site is being tamped down into the earth. Nah.

    a pet that is only available for one month should not cost 500kp (why cant the shard drop as part of the regular item pool? any special reason?)... and after the winter event i do really think you should skip something so that the events can align with rl seasons.

    I think the new items and pets are *really* cute but I’m confused. I thought the point of rebalancing the quests and rewards of all the towns was because certain things were a bit too cost- and effort-heavy. Why rebalance and then be like, “oh no, people have potatoes now, let’s make more really expensive stuff”?

    500 kp is a lot for the oran pet, even if it’s try to get people not to hoard the hatching item, it doesn’t feel very balanced. I also agree that it’s INCREDIBLY hard to get seasonal pets, as someone who’s played since the first set of seasonal pets and still doesn’t have any I’ve hatched, it’s frustrating to just see more get introduced when I’m so backed up already. I think they should be moved from being just bonuses, easier to acquire that way and more likely of them going on the market for extras. Having to spend 2000 turnips just for 1 of the 5 items I need is very frustrating.

    I definitely think they should've done something like... make the pet a single redeem. Like the Oran pet from Dragonglass Fae. This is really bad because this set has super low value (for potatoes) and people will have a lot of trouble getting multiple pets.

    I think for me I wish there was some nice short hair in this set, The pale braids could have just had the back cut off and it would've been lovely. I love that the skin changes the face shape, I hope that doesn't mess with any skin decor.

    I think the cuter brighter pinks from the illustration should have been included in the actual items, without that lovely pink color, the set looks very desaturated unless all put together.

    Love the foreground concept though, I wish it could have had some browns in there to make the foreground element pop more. It's hard to see without removing the bg element.

    Love the new set it’s so pretty! not sure about 500k potatoes for the oran pet though, it does make for a good potato sink in the sense that it’ll get a whole bunch of potatoes out of circulation but there’s going to be a huge over abundance of clothing, maybe if there was a consumable like pet food mixed in to the pool that would have been a bit better, I think personally 200k - 300k for the hatchable would have maybe been better received, that would have left users with far less extras. Either way it’s great to see new monthly pets but if they’re going to be used as potato sinks it could do with a bit of tweaking :)

    500kp for a limited retiring pet is beyond ridiculous. I've been sticking around idly playing, and being sure to keep up on getting the monthly pets so I would have them if future updates ever recaptured my interest in the game. This kills it for me. I'm not paying that. It's absurd. And since that means I'll be missing one, it kills the completionist wave I was riding. No point in bothering from here on out.
