With the arrival of the Spring season, a new Seasonal Pet has appeared!
- The ingredients to make the hatching item can be found in Pai, Agnes, and Oran's shops' Bonus Prize pools.
- The item alchemy recipe is available in your recipe book and shown above.
- This Seasonal Pet will remain in the shops for 3 months and rotate out at the end of May to be replaced by a pet for the next season.
- Seasonal pets are obtainable annually on a rotation! The hatching items can be alchemized at any time of the year.
2022 Spring Shard Pets
The Spring Shards from last year have returned to Pai and Agnes' Shops this spring at a flat rate of 500 turnips, and Oran's Bonus Claim. Alchemize 3 Spring Seed + 1 Spring Soil + a Mixer Potion to create the Spring Fruit hatching item!

WINTER EVENT PROGRESS
Our current progress on the upcoming winter event is the following:
Art Assets: 70%
Writing: 45%
Coding: 100%
We'll be announcing a start date some time this month when we're ready! In the meantime some info - this event will create a new seasonal town that will be expanded each year with new activities and rewards. It's planned to be the first of one area for each season that will be available along with new events featuring deities and permanent storyline additions.
STAFF HIRING PLANS
We're in the process of preparing materials and updating our system to be ready to bring new staff on board. We're aiming to post a recruitment announcement later this month or early next month.
KELBI SEASONAL PLANS
Kelbi's season is originally this month, however since the Winter event is planned for this month, we're working on still releasing it this spring some time after the Winter event is over. Currently, we're working on the storyline with our writers and will keep you posted on progress for it! We have 4 deities left to release stories for, and we're looking to achieve this by the end of the year with Vaer's month if all goes well.
CUSTOM QUEUE STATUS
Due to various IRL obstacles last month, we had to push the current batch of custom releases to this month. We're on the way to completing and claiming the next batch before mid month. Thanks for your patience as we worked through priorities!
NEXT PRIORITIES ON THE ROADMAP

This is really not the way to go about creating a Potato sink if this is indeed what it was meant to be, sinks for currency I feel should be a bit fun, or it at least should contain items that the player finds useful and nice, nobody needs nor probably wants more than one or two sets of a monthly clothing set. It should be enticing allaround for a player to want to sink currency into it. And also 500k Potatoes is just simply too much for the "cheaper" monthly items. To be able to get the Turnip pet for basically HALF the cost is not something that should be. Make them either the same price (so like 250k Potatoes for Oran's, maybe 200k so it's just 2 bonus items) or put Oran's back to how it used to be at only needing one bonus item so it's just 100k Potatoes.
If this is the way monthly Oran pets are gonna go from now on I really think this is going to be the last straw for me. I usually always collect the monthly pets but I'm not paying more for a non-premium currency pet than I could pay for a premium currency pet, nor am I willing to buy so many clothing items that I basically can't do anything with. I'm still holding out hope for a possible change as I always do when new updates come to the site since I love DV and want to enjoy playing it, but I truly think I'm gone if the next Oran pet comes around and this hasn't been addressed and something good and fair done.
I think for me I wish there was some nice short hair in this set, The pale braids could have just had the back cut off and it would've been lovely. I love that the skin changes the face shape, I hope that doesn't mess with any skin decor.
I think the cuter brighter pinks from the illustration should have been included in the actual items, without that lovely pink color, the set looks very desaturated unless all put together.
Love the foreground concept though, I wish it could have had some browns in there to make the foreground element pop more. It's hard to see without removing the bg element.
