gonna emphasize the fact that you don't need to actually successfully complete a daily quest in order for it to count. That's the way with literally any situation where you're required to 'complete' a daily errand; you can just say "I don't want to do this quest" to the NPC and it still counts as a completed daily errand. Yeah sure you don't get as many rewards but at least you won't have to rely on getting lucky with an errand you can complete.
(for example if you claim the helping bearnard task, then get him to tell you what he wants, then tell him no, and then you can just go back and get the points as if you did complete it. It also works if an NPC asks you to do an errand for another NPC)
