I just want to say that an easier way to make it feel more like cooperation and not competition would be to make it so that the prize tiers had to be unlocked by a cooperative score of everyone earning points then just "those who get to this tier get these items". Because then it absolutely becomes a competition to reach those pivital goals as hard and fast as possible. I mean, sure, there then comes the possible issue of people getting the items by minimal work but if the key point/take away from this event is *supposed* to be cooperation then idk, maybe it should feel more like we're cooperating towards a goal then trying to be one of the coveted placers of that tier.
