I didn't have a problem with the original system but understand not enough users brought their own opinions to the discussion due to fear of being attacked by people adverse to the premium gacha. That's completely valid.
I had thought the previous system was extremely fair since it was so easy to trade with other users for items I did not have. I expressed my opinion in threads suggesting otherwise in hopes you would take all opinions into consideration. I hope that it helped.

I do appreciate the dev team properly coming forward with a statement and commitment to hopefully making the site a more user friendly experience. I hope in the end people won't take it for granted though, expecting every change to be made.
