This offer should be open to everyone that claimed a badge prior to the update. I updated at rollover under false information and got the original message, "As part of your premium member perks, you have received this month's bonus point for the premium shop. Remember to claim an item before it expires!" yet according to this announcement I wouldn't qualify for the refund.
